Amy Lerch is the founder and owner of Peace. Love. Hair. Amy is the go-to hair expert entrusted with the style of a number of Denver news anchors, public personalities and many more amazing women and men all over the city that she calls her clients and friends! Amy has been asked to share her talents and natural ability to connect with and teach clients as an expert on several hair and makeup tutorials for Fox 31 Denver. Under her management and expertise, her first salon spent two years in the top 10 of Denver's A-List as Best Salon, was featured in two print articles for InStyle magazine and Rachel Ray magazine.
Beauty school was something of a whim for Amy. While in college she was inspired to become a licensed nail technician in order to pay her way through school, but ever the planner, she decided she should also know how to do hair. "I asked my grandfather for help paying for beauty school. He thought I was crazy to drop out of college to pursue being a "beauty operator". Being the scholar he was he did a bit of research to find out that beauticians can make a good living and he thought maybe one day I could own my own salon." That dream was realized in 2002 after opening her first salon, Blondies The Beauty Shop and continues on with the creation of Peace. Love. Hair. "He never got to see how far I took it, but I was able to give him a few haircuts along the way and I know he was proud of me," Amy says. Amy's first salon became a preeminent salon in the saturated and competitive Cherry Creek area through rigorous technical training and high standards of client care. Wanting to continue her pursuit of creating a new brand of salon and with a desire to inspire not only her co-workers but also her clientele, Peace. Love. Hair was born in the summer of 2017. Peace. Love. Hair is the idea of designing a peaceful space to create beauty and cater to the needs and desires of her customers without a lot of drama. To focus on peace...and love...and really great hair!
Many of Amy's clients have been with her for 15 years and counting, which definitely means they have earned "friends and family" status to her. "I get to listen and give advice not just about hair, but I get to go through life with them. I am there for the good times and the bad. I get to do hair for their weddings, style their hair for photos with their new born babies, help them through the hard times in life." Amy says the thing that keeps her striving professionally and enjoying her career is the look on her clients' faces whenever she finishes their style. "Every time... it never gets old. I love to make my clients feel beautiful."
Amy plans to work more travel into her family's schedule, but for now she loves soaking up time with her hubby, children, family and friends. "I love just hanging out on my beautiful patio, watching sunsets with a glass of wine, and seeing my kids run around, laughing and living life."

Caitlin McConaughy has been doing hair professionally since 2008, unless you count the many dolls she considered “clients” as a child. “My mom still talks about me cutting off my “Molly” American Girl doll’s hair, but in my defense her ends were frizzy and split and you have never seen a haircut so straight!” She says she always was having fun with her own hair. “I was the only 10 year old with a perfect bob. I started using rollers when I was 7 and dying my hair when I was 12.”
Caitlin wanted to enroll in a high school cosmetology program, but her parents weren’t so keen. By the time she was headed to college she assumed she’d become a lawyer for her family’s firm, and attended Colorado State University majoring in Journalism. The passion for style and beauty never died however, and after college she decided she had nothing to lose and enrolled in beauty school…her once apprehensive father becoming her biggest supporter and best client! She worked for two years as Peace. Love. Hair. owner Amy Lerch’s assistant and credits Amy with teaching her so much about hair and business, but also about life!
Caitlin is known for being an expert at extensions and she loves to be involved doing hair and makeup for clients’ weddings. The client-stylist relationship is what she loves most about her job. Developing those friendships and the level of trust she enjoys with her clients naturally leads to being involved in their “big day”. She has even been known to step in as a photographer’s assistant or a fill-in waitress just to make sure her client doesn’t stress out! “I guess I just love being able to be someone's go-to person in whatever capacity!” she says.
Caitlin is a self-described foodie, loves comedy, theater and musicals and was once an Irish Dancer herself! She is “obsessed” with her close-knit family. She also has three fur-babies: a Golden Retriever puppy, Leeloo, and two cats, Pippin and Fiyero.
Caitlin feels privileged to work in such a creative and fun industry and the personal satisfaction it brings. “There is nothing in the world better than making someone feel pretty and stylish. It's so nice to know that I get to make someone's day.”

Peyton is a native Texan, born in Houston and raised just outside of Austin. Peyton couldn’t be happier to make Denver her new home in 2019. Being a stylist was her first career goal, but she explored a new path in high school by volunteering in an elementary special needs classroom. This set her up to pursue becoming an occupational therapist in college. Although Peyton will have a special place in her heart for all she learned and experienced with those children, she realized her true dream of becoming a stylist.
After completing her education at the Paul Mitchell School in Austin, Peyton apprenticed at two salons. Rising to the top in her hometown salon, she is commuting to see her beloved clients one week a month. Peyton is so happy to be building a new following of clients right here at Peace. Love. Hair.
Specializing in color, Peyton loves to provide everything from a touch-up to a total transformation. Hand-tied hair extensions as well as tape-ins are also a big part of her passions. Peyton is happiest when her hands are in hair, whether she’s holding a color brush or a pair of scissors. There is no better feeling than seeing the face of a happy client. Her goal is always to create a look that suits your individual style, one that makes you feel your personal best.
